Rocky Mountain EAP re-credentials and re-appoints providers every two years. This processĀ updates credentialing information as well as the provider’s skill sets, professional history, practice location, and office arrangements. The therapist provides evidence of current state licensure and liability/malpractice coverage. Re-credentialing takes into account the therapist’s overall performance, disciplinary action history, client satisfaction surveys, complaints, as well as clinical and legal updates of the therapists file.
All provider’s have the right to review information related to credentialing or re-credentialing, to correct erroneous/missed information in the application, and to appeal decisions made by the Credentialing Committee.
