To be considered for participation in our Network of Providers, the following requirements apply:
A minimum of a master’s degree in social work or related social sciences; Licensure by the state in which you practice; A minimum of five (5) years post–masters clinical experience; Professional liability insurance coverage of $1 million per incident and $3 million aggregate; Knowledge of community services; Ability to deliver short-term /focused assessment and treatment sessions; No record of license refusal or suspension; No record of malpractice or other judgments; A positive professional reputation within the community and among your peers.
Additionally, your facilities must meet basic requirements:
Appearance of the facility; The maintenance of client records; Confidentiality; Disclosure of client information; Telephone etiquette ; Procedures for appointments ; Availability in an emergency ; Access, e.g. office hours and days, evening and Saturday availability, 24-hour crisis response availability, ability to meet appointment scheduling standards for routine, urgent, and emergent cases; Other.
We perform a background check on each provider candidate. Additionally, part of the credentialing process also highlights and identifies the following information:
Disorders – addictions, depression, substance abuse, ADHD, HIV/AIDS, PTSS, etc.; Population served – couples, children, adolescents, ethnic groups, etc.; Specialty areas – domestic violence, physical or sexual abuse, anger management, work related stress, etc.; Credentialed SAP (Substance Abuse Professionals).
